Dr. Behnam Jafarpour is the Founder and President of Advanced NeuroSpine Neurology and Pain Management He is a Double board-certified Neurologist and Fellowship-Trained Interventional Pain Management Physician, providing comprehensive neurological and pain care in one practice.

  • Pain Medicine – American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)

He continually follows the latest evidence-based guidelines in both Neurology and Interventional Pain Management to provide the highest standard of patient care.

Dr. Jafarpour completed his Neurology Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he served as Chief Resident.

He subsequently completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine through the Department of Anesthesiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University.

Prior to residency, Dr. Jafarpour conducted clinical research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and has contributed to multiple clinical research publications.

Dr. Jafarpour holds active medical licenses in both Virginia and Maryland.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Jafarpour serves as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), where he participates in the education and training of future physicians.

 Because of his extensive background in neuroscience and interventional pain medicine, Dr. Jafarpour is uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of neurological and pain disorders.

Dr. Jafarpour is board-certified in both Neurology and Pain Medicine, allowing him to evaluate and treat patients with complex neurological disorders as well as acute and chronic pain conditions through a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach.
